Strain Gauge Testing
Analysis of mechanical stress induced into a sample circuit board by
test fixture probes and supports is available by monitoring of bonded
strain gauges. Gauges are bonded to points on the
board determined to be critical because of component placement or
fixture support limitations. Strain gauges are
recorded during full mechanical cycling of the test
fixture. Data is presented in graphical chart and/or
tabular form in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
format. Compliance to customer specifications or
industry standards can be provided.
